My friend and I were out at a disc golf course, and another friend happened to show up. The three of us played a round of eighteen-hole disc golf.
I ended up with the win at +18, +22, and +23. However, I was not playing well and took an 8 on a hole that I usually take a 6 at worst on. It is a difficult hole, but I was having unusual issues after missing the first gap off the tee.
On the next hole, I lost my disc by throwing it too high, so it faded into some bramble bushes. I went back to look for it after the round was over and could not find it. I decided to throw some practice throws, and I lost my throwing putter in a similar spot. I looked for a long time for the putter because it should have been easy to find, but it was not. I might go back in a few days to look for my discs again. I usually have more luck in the morning when I am fresh and the air is cooler.
The hole where I lost the discs used to be a fairly easy hole for me when my forehand was working well. It has really been a struggle for me to throw it backhand. My arm keeps improving every day, so maybe I can start throwing forehand again soon.
It was another blue sky day today out on the disc golf course:
