I played a nine-hole disc golf course for practice today. I wasn't keeping score per say but it was over par by a few throws. I was trying out some changes in my throw and playing with a limited number of discs that I was trying to learn better.
The worst issue was that I was missing some short throws that I knew I should be making. It is surprising how easy it is to miss putts when you have not played for some time and are a bit stiff. (I overdid it a bit yesterday when I was out playing for over five hours.)
I found a shoe next to the basket on the disc golf course:
I'm wondering how the heck you lose a shoe on a disc golf course. Miss a putt, get really mad... spike your shoe into the basket? It seems like you would cool off in a few days and remember where you lost your shoe. Go figure, lol.
I could not find a number on the shoe, so I didn't know who to call. I did find another lost disc with a number on it on hole two. I left a message on the number to let the person know that I stashed it on a bench near hole three's tee pad in case they wanted it back. If it is still there in a few days and they don't bother to call be back, it would be slightly tempting to wander off with the premium plastic Star T-Bird, lol.
Tonight's dinner:
