It was pretty cold this morning with some light frost and dew on the trees. Here's a few pictures around sunrise:
It stayed cloudy most of the day but there was a brief period of sunshine. I took this picture of a leaf that I had dried out under a salt candle:
I'm thinking about doing some other photos and graphics with the leaf but the colors faded a lot and don't look like the original. Kind of a zombie leaf look at this point perhaps, lol.
I managed to get out for a couple of rounds of disc golf this evening. It was cooler and I was testing out my new disc some more. It is really easy to throw and the first round I ended up going out of bounds long on one hole and almost got it into the ball park out of bounds on another.
It is not typically the disc I would throw for some of these shots when I'm not wanting long distance. Still it is very good practice to see how well I can control the disc. I'm really liking my new Westside Sword disc. The lighter weight do not bother me because the disc is stable enough and it is an advantage when you don't want to throw as hard.

The first round I was mostly playing around and did not score all that well but on the second I had a -2 score on the nine hole course.
I've been playing with the "Ok Google" voice control on my phone. It is pretty nice to turn on and off the flashlight with. It is great to use when you have something in your hand and you just need a quick flashlight.
I thought maybe I could use it when I'm out on the disc golf course too. Next time my son is up for a critical to sink birdie putt, I can pull my phone out when he is lining up his shot and say, "Okay Google, turn on the flashlight."
Shining the flashlight in his eyes I can say, "Ok Google, play Doctor Evil laughter clip."
Muhahaha, just kidding. My son probably wound not appreciate that.
