I played an eighteen basket round at my favorite disc golf course down by the river this afternoon. I think I scored a personal best of -3 depending on how you count it.
On hole eight I managed to park the drive right by the basket about five feet away. This is the hole where I have lost a lot of discs in the river on windy days so I was pretty proud of the the throw. I kind of swaggering a bit up to the disc and didn't bother taking my pack off. I reached down and picked up the driver and tossed it at the basket. Any normal driver would have gone in but this was a Blizzard Champion Boss and it teetered on the edge of the basket and fell out. I looked around embarrassed and said, "nobody saw that," and nobody did. (The advantage of playing by yourself, lol.)
In any case it was a good round and I almost
went -5 except I turned a birdie into a bogey on another hole.
I also took the puppy for a walk this morning. He was being extra good for some reason.
On one of the nice lookout spots on the walk the puppy and I took a short break and enjoyed the view:
There were lots of bird noises today.
I love the way the leaves look in the fall and it seems the puppy enjoyed running through them:
When picking blackberries this morning I noticed that one of the spiders got some new skin:
