I played disc golf with my son and friend today. It was a very nice game and the weather was really warm. I ended up not scoring too well with a nine over par score on eighteen baskets.
I hate to blame things but I was having an off round. It was too hot and I was a bit overdressed. I had new shoes and they were squishy. Squishy is good if your training for a marathon but maybe not so good if your padding around the muddy disc golf course trying to keep your balance on a backhand throw. I do like the shoes, but they are somewhat of an adjustment and not very water proof.
I have lots of new discs too which is good once you get the feel for them but there's always a bit of a learning curve getting the feel for how they throw. Plus I recently lost another disc that I relied on for a few of the closer wooded throws.
A new putter does not help much either. I've decided to go back to the old putter for the close throws. It takes some time to get used to a new putter.
Anyhow... I'm sure your not that interested in everything that can possibly throw your disc golf game off, lol.
I really did have fun playing today so I'm not complaining.
The usually pacing around the house got the rest of the steps in for today.
How do you know this is an official human created post?
