Today I rode my ebike down to the new disc golf park and did some practicing. There was a person mowing the grass there by the first basket and I did not want to throw the disc where it might be run over by the mower.
I also forgot my phone so I would have no way of tracking my Tobu disc if I lost it in the brambles. So I just had fun and did some practicing on some of the easier baskets around the course.
One of the baskets requires you to throw under a bunch of branches to a basket around a couple hundred feet away. There is an out of bounds area just to the right of the fairway. With both distance drivers I was playing with I could easily get the disc pretty close to the basket and overthrow the distance. With my midrange disc I was having a lot of trouble keeping it in bounds and getting it to fly under the trees.
I had heard a midrange is better for beginners but I'm not so sure about that. It seems to be nice for short straighter shots without any worries about height. At least for me I have a lot of difficulty throwing it forehand or with a power grip backhand. It does fly nicely with a fan grip backhand on short approaches for me.
I also walked the dog twice today. I was going to go for another ride on my ebike but just as I was starting to get ready Dog-oh got all excited and I knew if I left him just then he would would be noisy when I was gone.

It was a lot cooler today and pretty nice in the afternoon to get out in the park. There was a homeless person sleeping in the sun there.
The bathroom has a nice electric outlet right by the bike rack. I'm not sure if this was planned or not but it would be handy for someone who was coming from farther away. Next time I go for a long ride I'm going to start looking around for some places I might be able to charge the ebike battery at.
