It was a rainy colder day today so I did not get out and do too much. I did play one game of disc golf in the evening with my son. I scored four over par for the nine basket course.
The tee pads were wet and it made things a bit harder. Wet discs are harder to grip and control but it was still a fun game. It was not raining hard enough to get us very wet.
Here's a picture of a sparrow that I took today when I was watching the birds.
There was a couple of house finches flying around the yard being very cute. The female kept flying over to the male following him around. She would sit right next to him and flutter her wings making a "chirp, chirp" sound.
Opening her mouth it was pretty obvious she wanted to be feed. The male kept perching in different places. Finally he did decide to feed her.
I wanted to get a picture of the two of them together but by the time I had brought my camera back the male had flown off.
The female was perched on some moss kind of fluffed up and looking pretty. Some raindrops are visible in the background:
