HELLO HIVE WORLD!
We are a group of Lightpainting Artists who luckily found our way here. Our mission is to get more attention for our Art and help other Lightpainter to get on board.
Lightpainting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure.
Lightpainting is a very small part of the photography category. It is known to many, but most people don't know in what way it can be used for artistic photography. For this reason we want to reach more people with our art. We want to inspire people to try it themselves.

This art is very visible and can easily inspire some photographers to try out these techniques. There are now a lot of photographers here on HIVE and accordingly we have made it our task to introduce our small light painting community into the new social media world. With "Lightpainters United" we not only want to show our art to the HIVE world, but also to help other Lightpainting artists to get started with HIVE.
