1000 Origami Cranes
I took this photograph at a friends wedding.
For part of the decorations she hung 1000 origami cranes from the rafters of the hall where she held her reception.
Myself and many others helped to make the cranes during the prevsious week, after she gave us a quick lesson in origami.
In far eastern culture the crane represents good fortune and longevity and it was believed that with 1000 origami cranes your wishes would come true.
It was a great wedding but I but I'd be happy to never see another piece of origami paper again.
