I HAVE DECIDED TO START MY JOURNEY TODAY
I dedicate this post to STEEMIANS who does goodwill here; you never knew how much you encouraged me; in return, you gave STEEMIT its real value in pure gold.
I have a self-made saying that goes like this: “A JOURNEY OF A THOUSAND MILES REQUIRES A HEAVIER BACKPACK”, and as far as my posts on the JOULESTEEM circuit is concerned, I do believe I have reached a point wherein I need to prepare certain things that will include some heavy decisions for my part. But I am determined to finish what I have started here, hence this post to at least express my honest to goodness assessment of my first month on the STEEMIT platform and deciding to start the journey of a lifetime.
The screenshot above does not lie of my very fresh beginnings here, 28 posts in 32 days. I have to admit at a personal level that I wanted to back-off, no not because I changed good intentions, but more specifically of the kind of intentions that I can clearly see from others here who equates everything with MONEY. My friends, I know I can not possibly know you as the reader now, but do believe me if I say that even if money is useful in this life, there are many things that brings about real happiness that just can not be equated with money.
I remembered my excitement coming in here, first post, very nice reception, and ohhhhhh, about 15 dollars as upvote rewards!!! Thank you so much my friends, I know to others this is but a very small amount, but again as what I just said not evertyhing can be equated with money, and it really seemed the 15 dollars was to me, worth MILLIONS, this is simply the worth of the good STEEMIANs as equated thru a thankful attitude.
Moving on and the days slowly counted, I then tried to study more about how and what people really do around. Posts, upvotes, boosting others that seems to uplift the ones below, resteems for free and for a fee, self-upvotes with a mix of foul play, and then, the people who clearly just wants to help others that for me brings the real value of what STEEMIT is.
They gave me the strength and the confirmation as to why I am here and why the JOULESTEEM circuit should be given in full, complete with all the proofs that nobody can really dispute when that time of great questioning happens. May this serve as a warning to those who just equate STEEMIT with money, that many of us do not see it this way. STEEMIT can give you money YES of course, but STEEMIT as a well foreseen platform will offer us more. I do not have to explain things technically the IT Systems way, I know much deeper things IT believe me, and yet this platform is just an expression of how God-given are the gifts of the people who started this. Let us not smudge their good reputation, even if they are worth millions now, but what good is their millions if this platform stays at the bottom? 25 years? What will they say to themselves if all other cryptos hover above the thousands, and STEEMIT, at a dollar? Worse, gone for good. I can not let ourselves be branded in the future as a bunch of people “eating themselves up”, we are certainly better than this.
I refuse to believe that we are this as below; no, no way man!
But I know deep inside that we are as pictured below, majestic in what gifts God has given us:

SO HERE IS WHAT I WILL DO
So here is what I will do; I will move on, I will ready myself and not be discouraged, I will pack a heavy load of imaginary canned foods and thick sweaters on my perceived long, cold survival journey thru the STEEMIT winters. I will make sure I will survive firstly, only to return back what I will gain. I will persevere, knowing that not only is this my first social media platform, but what I carry with me as gifts is FIT FOR PURPOSE in STEEMIT. Do you have this feeling that whoever made this possible already knows you beforehand? Seeing you clearly, inviting you to come over to show your goods for others to benefit. I will try my very best to carry many people with me here, because I know they will need more the things that I can give them, and again, it is not money.
I will prepare a little inventory of tools and electronic parts. I will clean up my house, well, at least for the part that I will lay down the JOULESTEEM circuit for the pictures of results that I will post, I will encourage my son to help me and the wife to support me more. And yes, even the dogs to behave, for I will show everybody something that will benefit lots of people, and in return may it benefit me as I can bring honest-to-goodness meals on my family dinner table . I will prepare myself to sacrifice if need be and ready myself mentally and emotionally for the great work ahead, exactly as what a good soldier would do before going into battle. This may take me a little while, but not too long I assure you, no no, not too long.
I do not need anybody’s money here, I just knew it will come while I work hard.
