The problem is that ‘evils of the soviet regime’ have been greatly exaggerated by a western ‘pro nazi’ propaganda. The late professor Stephen Cohen devoted most of his academic career to investigation of Soviet Union and Joseph Stalin, and you would be surprised, @ura-soul: George W. Bush and Barrack ‘Nobel’ O’Bomber together murdered more people in the 16 years of their mandates, than Stalin did for the 32 years of his rule! And in the meantime, Soviet Union grow from poor agricultural, feudal country, to a nuclear superpower, space technology leader, country with the best education in the World, and Russia alone, during Stalin’s rule grow for more than 14 million people. That is the best criteria who is winning an everlasting hybrid war.

Picking a side in such a situation is a fool's errand.
