One beautiful building with past glory and shameful present.
"The house with the strawberries".
As this happens very often to old buildings with special cultural status, they either slowly ruin or suddenly get burned down by "homeless". I've seen that "movie" so many times. What I could do is "freeze" the moments getting there and searching some light around it, until is still stands in the heart of Sofia, on the famous San Stefano street.
B&W fits my mood in the best way!
There isn't a Wiki page about it in English, so this automatic translation should do: https://bg-m-wikipedia-org.translate.goog/wiki/%D0%9A%D1%8A%D1%89%D0%B0%D1%82%D0%B0_%D1%81_%D1%8F%D0%B3%D0%BE%D0%B4%D0%B8%D1%82%D0%B5?_x_tr_sl=bg&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=wapp

You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything. Please consider the first photo of this post as my entry today to the established #monomad daily contest by the monochromes account and community and supported by the qurator account, thank you everyone for your hard and continuous efforts to build and grow this great community!
