I wouldn't call this "rant". Stuff like this happens often, unfortunately. Obviously a bad manager and I'm glad for you that you don't work for them anymore. It seems to me this "divorce" was rather quick, in my country the law says the notice could be between one month and three months and of course employers put 3 months in the contracts. Imagine three months under the supervision of a person whos main goal is to humiliate.
Long story short, congrats on the new job, I hope it makes you happy! :)
