A scenery beautiful night near the Plana chapel at Plana mountain about 30-40 km from the capital city of Bulgaria, Sofia.

It seems that distance isn't enough to stop the light pollution.

Still, I was quite satisfied by the moving light sources in the night starry sky I was able to capture in these long-exposure photographs.

The Milky Way is always breathtaking to observe. Moreover, well, when there isn't enough action above, one could always light-paint something, like the heart in the first photo ;)

Then at a certain point a small group of astronomers joined us, speaking about constellations and stars and using their green laser-pointer, creating a sci-fi effect.

After checking all the photographs, I was deeply impressed to find out that in the last photo of this series, there are actually four meteors that I captured within 20 seconds, and the paths of two of them are intersected by the trail of an airplane :) It's almost like a child painting in the sky :) A dragon? Or a letter? Or a symbol? I can't tell!
