A place to rest

One of the things that impress me very much in Spain are the places to rest they have there. And here I don't need the parks or the spas but the places for eternal rest. The cemeteries.

On my few travels there I realized that so many things could be said and figured out by only looking at those places. How they are planned, built, maintained, respected, etc.

I don't know how it is in your own culture but in my culture, it is not usual to take photographs of this places, even it is not well accepted to take photographs during funerals. Here thus type of photography is even a taboo. It wasn't like that in the past, but somewhere in the last century that perception changed.

Anyway. I just wanted to say this particular one below looks beautiful. The ones we have in my country are much uglier, let's say it straight.

You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything.
