Yo Sup! How are y'all?
I wanna share to you guys one of my free verse poems. It was so funny coz I made this last month at 3 AM and it was raining really hard that time. I was about to sleep when I saw a scary picture of a girl in the internet and it crept me out! After that i can't sleep lol.
I just stared outside and I had a lot of thoughts inside my head - my dreams in life, my struggles, problems, etc-etc. I glanced at the sky as it was about to rain. Can't really disclose everything but in short, i fvcked up a lil bit lol. I kinda interpretted the scenario to it and with one of the most famous lines "There's a rainbow always after a rain" then (boom!) I came up with this.
"Rainbow"
As the moon bussed the murky clouds
--- it gloomed the sky,
veiled with silence ...
then it started to drizzle
the scene was no more tranquil
when it turned into a heavy downpour
tumultuous lightning, roaring thunder
eerily illumined the dark ether
night filled with rumbling sounds,
raindrops dashed into the ground like arrows
deluged the land --- it lasted for a while
... and t'was quiet once again
rustling leaves in a calm rhythm
the inspiriting smell of petrichor,
dominating the atmosphere
like no trace of affliction
yes! the woe was suppressed
as the mighty sun stood up, illuminating every spot
then an arc of prismatic colors ---
emerged above the horizon, it was beautiful
