INTRODUCTORY POST : @LIFEOFLADE IS HERE!!!

Hello everyone and happy weekend, it's Friday evening right here in Abuja, Nigeria and this is my first post in this platform, pardon my manners, my name is Temilade, I coined my username from the last four words of my name 'lade'and added 'lifeof' that's how I came about @lifeoflade because I will be sharing mostly my lifestyle with you all. Some of you may be wondering what's the meaning of my name. Lol it's can be funny to pronounce don't bite your tongue while pronouncing it, you can just call me as lifeoflade. My name actually means the crown is mine. I am from a royal family in the western part of Nigeria, Ekiti state to be precise and this is a common name for a princess in my tribe.

My Personal Life

I'm 28 years old, yes I actually look younger than my age, I have a BSc degree in hospitality and tourism management, I'm married and blessed with a beautiful daughter.

I love to write a lot because that's how I communicate my feelings most of the time, as a young girl growing up it was always not easy for me to communicate what was going on in my head, so I'd always write it down, so writing become a place of escape for me, so I was really excited when @hivedeb told be about hive, a place I can write, be creative, meet new people and just have fun writing and at the same time earn a reward and invest for my future, this feels too good to be true so I had to check it out and be part of it.

Passion and Work life

I'm majorly a work from home mom don't blame me, my kid is still young and I'd like to spend a lot of time with her at this stage of her life. So I'm basically into affiliate marketing and blogging which is to say I work online. I also developed a great passion for baking during the lock down, so I decided to update my baking skills and I am glad I did, I was able to bake my daughter's 1st year birthday and some other cake that brings fulfilment, below are some of the pictures of when I got my baking certificate and some cakes baked by me.

Oh I also forgot to mention that I love food and I love to cook a lot, so it's safe to say most of my post will be food related, baking and my adventurous life. I can't wait to share with you all.

I also have passion for humanitarian work, I'd love to make the world a better place with the little I can and I have some pictures of past humanitarian work I have engage in. This was done during children's day celebration in my country last year 2021 where we were able to provide school uniforms and books for pupils in that school.

It feels good to be part of this amazing family, I will take my time to read a lot of post and also to get to know more about the platform and what communities will be best for me.
