Oktoberfest 2026
My first-ever Oktoberfest experience in Munich, Germany!🍻 And what a day it was!
I spent the day exploring the massive Oktoberfest grounds, taking in the incredible atmosphere, and getting an aerial view of the festival from one of the rides, with the Ferris wheel and the Oktoberfest grounds stretching out below. 🎡
Of course, no Oktoberfest experience would be complete without the famous 1-liter Maß of beer 🍺 — a must-have for the full Oktoberfest experience!
And then came the food! 😋 For lunch, I tried the classic Backhendl (crispy fried chicken), followed by some delicious Bretzel and Knödel as snacks. For dinner, I went all in with a hearty Schweinshaxe (crispy pork knuckle). 🥨🍗🐖
But the real party started at Schützenfestzelt! 🍻🎶 We spent the evening in the tent, enjoying the music, beer, food, and classic Oktoberfest atmosphere. It was the perfect way to finish my first Oktoberfest experience — and we stayed partying until 12 midnight! 🌙🍺
From the rides and food to the massive beer tents and unforgettable atmosphere, this was definitely a day to remember.
