Weekly Quail Mother GIF # 3

This week in the coop we did a deep cleaning, and every week when I am done the quail leap and hop all about the coop in glee. They run around catch bugs and fly very poorly.

Penguin, my most photogenic winged friend, did a little hop for the camera for this weeks GIF. She was feeling very Hoppy..........

GIF Of The Week!!!!!!!!

There has been great peace all around he coop this week. The cold has made them all make up and cuddle. There is frost biting the canopy and the forest floor in the mornings. The ones who were injured in the fight two weeks ago are growing their feathers back, making them look like they have little Mohawks made of pins. The separation worked out very well, and the aggressive ones are calm in a small space. I opened the door for them to run around and not one quail would come out of their homes. It makes me feel good to know my little guys are happy in their spot.
