German stamp album older than 1908.

This is the oldest stamp album in my collection. Amongst many old stamps from all around the world my favorite one is first Chinese stamp from 1878. From my childhood I had some kind of great respect for the past... How many people had this old stamp in their hands ? How many owners had this old stamp album till it came to me... Will my successor be interested to take care about my stamp collection ...?

When I was a child throught stamp collecting I was learning about different countries, nations, languages, mountains, rivers, cities, population, animals and many other things. It was like addition to history, georgaphy and biology. When I grew older there was a period more than 10 years long when I was not in stamp collecting, I was preoccupied with my family and job, but my son is now almost 18 and he is more and more autonomous, so I opened one of my stamp albums just to take a look and magic started again...

Stamp collecting makes me happy, releases me from stress and forces me to think about different nations,
cultures, customs etc... Also I am somehow proud to have rare and old stamps in my collection...
