Hello, Hive Book Club — I'm Lidia, the friend behind the Seven Gates

Hello, everyone! My name is Lidia, and this is my very first post on Hive. My account is @lidiamaria, I am from Cuba, and I am here for one simple reason: I love books, and above all, I love fantasy.

If this community has seen a series about a hidden city called Gondolin these days — the city with seven gates that the Enemy searched for over centuries and never found — then you have already met a part of me. I am the friend who shared that story with @marcimino. The Seven Gates came to him from my hands, and now he is telling them here, one gate per day. It makes me happy to see Gondolin traveling so far.

Tolkien is my great love: The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and all those stories almost nobody knows, the ones hidden in the old books. For me, a good story is a door — and yes, I believe doors are for crossing.

Here I want to share the books and stories I love, and talk with people who feel the same. And I have another side you will meet soon: I make handmade crafts, little things created with patience and love, which I will also be showing here on Hive.
