Siegessäule Hakenberg
This trip led me to the victory column Hakenberg. This structure stands in the middle of the forest near Fehrbellin, about 60 kilometers from Berlin. Built from 1875 to 1879, the 36-meter high structure is intended to commemorate the victory of the fat curly-haired Elector Frederick William in 1675 against the Swedes. At that time, Sweden had occupied large parts of northern Germany. Fritze Willi chased away the Swedes and thus established the fame of Prussia, At least that's what the historiography says. So the Prussians then 200 years later put the phallus with the golden Victoria on top in the forest.
Diese Reise führte mich zur Siegessäule Hakenberg. Dieses Bauwerk steht mitten im Wald in der Nähe von Fehrbellin, etwa 60 Kilometer von Berlin entfernt. Gebaut wurde das 36 Meter hohe Bauwerk von 1875 bis 1879. Die Säule soll an den Sieg des dicken Kurfürsten mit der Lockenperrücke Friedrich Wilhelm im Jahr 1675 gegen die Schweden erinnern. Damals hatte Schweden weite Teile von Norddeutschland besetzt. Fritze Willi hat die Schweden verjagt und somit den Ruhm von Preußen begründet, So lautet jedenfalls die Geschichtsschreibung. Also haben die Preußen dann 200 Jahre später den Phallus mit der golden Victoria oben drauf in den Wald gestellt.
Fortunately, the Siegessäule was hardly busy. So I could set up the tripod in the middle of the street. While I was photographing I had to move it only once out of the way because a car drove away from the Victory Column. Another advantage was that no one ran me through the picture. First I took a picture with the 720 nm infrared pass filter. On the Nikon D750 I had the Nikkor 17-35/2.8, I had set aperture 5.6 and ISO 50. The exposure time was 120 seconds. I took other pictures with shorter and longer exposure times, but I like this version best. In image processing I adjusted the white balance and contrast. I sharpened and denoised the image and changed the color profile in Darktable to linear infrared BGR.
Zum Glück war kaum Betrieb an der Siegessäule. Ich konnte also das Stativ mitten auf der Straße aufstellen. Während ich fotografierte musste ich es nur einmal aus dem Weg räumen weil ein Auto von der Siegessäule weg fuhr. Ein weiterer Vorteil war, das mir niemand durch das Bild lief. Zuerst machte ich ein Bild mit dem 720 nm Infrarot Pass Filter. An der Nikon D750 hatte ich das Nikkor 17-35/2.8, Eingestellt hatte ich Blende 5,6 und ISO 50. Die Belichtungszeit betrug 120 Sekunden. Ich nahm noch weitere Bilder mit kürzeren und längeren Belichtungszeiten auf, aber diese Version gefällt mir am Besten. In Bildbearbeitung passte ich den Weißabgleich und den Kontrast an. Ich schärfte und entrauschte das Bild und änderte das Farbprofil in Darktable auf lineares Infrarot BGR.

I then plugged the Laowa 12/2.8 into the camera and attached a polarizing filter and an ND 1000 filter. Through this it is possible to shoot with a thousand times the exposure time. With the filter, 1/50 second becomes about 20 seconds exposure time. The ISO value was 50 and the aperture ring was set to 11.
Danach steckte ich das Laowa 12/2,8 an die Kamera und befestigte einen Polarisationsfilter sowie einen ND 1000 Filter. Durch diesen ist es möglich mit der tausendfachen Belichtungszeit zu fotografieren. Aus 1/50 Sekunde werden dann mit dem Filter ungefähr 20 Sekunden Belichtungszeit. Der ISO Wert war bei 50. Der Blendenring stand auf 11.
The filter holder for the Laowa can hold one round polarizing filter and two square 100 mm filters. The polarizing filter can be rotated from the outside to adjust it.
Der Filterhalter für das Laowa kann einen runden Polarisationsfilter und zwei eckige 100 mm Filter aufnehmen. Den Polarisationsfilter kann man von außen drehen um diesen einzustellen.
