I am a coffee lover and a few days ago while walking around the historic center of my city, I decided to have a coffee.
It was mid-morning around 11.05am ...
Among the many bars and coffe shops in the historic center of Potenza, I choose to enter the "Retro' Caffe' ".
As soon as you enter, you immediately understand the reason for choosing the name of the bar.
The style of the bar is completely vintage, retro.
Right next to the entrance door on a small table there is a beautiful case to make receipts.
Today we are used to pressing a simple button or using the voice to communicate with televisions, appliances ... In the past there were cranks necessary for the functioning of many equipment.
I really like the objects of the past and in this bar there are really many.
A coin-operated telephone: 30-40 years ago, if you were outside the home, you had to use phones like this in the picture to make phone calls and you often had to line up with other people to use it.
Enchanted by the beauty of all these retro items I had almost forgotten the reason that pushed me to enter this bar ...
The coffee
We order a coffee and a kind girl immediately goes to the coffee machine.
And here's the coffee.
While I was drinking my coffee I kept looking around ... noticing other details of this bar.
My opinion:
Retro' Caffe' is a small but nice bar and the staff is friendly and welcoming.
I will certainly return to this bar, to enjoy a great coffee and breathe the air of times gone by...
Retro' Caffe': Un caffè dal gusto vintage.
Sono un amante del caffè e qualche giorno fa, mentre passeggiavo per il centro storico della mia città, decido di prendermi un caffè.
Era mattina intorno alle ore 11:05 ...
Tra i tanti bar e caffetterie che ci sono nel centro storico di Potenza, scelgo di entrare nel bar "Retrò Caffè".
Appena entro capisco subito il perchè della scelta del nome del bar.
Lo stile del bar è completamente vintage, retrò.
Appena entri, a due passi dalla porta di ingresso su un tavolino c'è esposta una bellissima cassa per fare gli scontrini.
Oggi siamo abituati a premere un semplice tasto oppure a usare la voce per comunicare con televisioni, elettrodomestici... In passato c'erano manovelle necessarie al funzionamento delle attrezzature.
Mi piacciono tanto gli oggetti del passato e in questo bar ce ne sono davvero molti:
Un telefono a gettoni: 30 - 40 anni fa, se ti trovavi fuori casa, per telefonare dovevi usare telefoni come questo in foto e spesso dovevi metterti in fila con altre persone per poterlo utilizzare.
Incantato dalla bellezza di tutti questi articoli retrò mi ero quasi dimenticato del motivo che mi aveva spinto ad entrare in questo bar....
Il caffè
Ordiniamo un caffè e una gentile ragazza va subito alla macchina del caffè.
Ed ecco il caffè.
E' un ottimo caffè, gustoso e intenso...E' un caffè dal gusto retrò
Mentre bevevo il mio caffè continuavo a guardarmi intorno...notando altri particolari di questo bar.
La mia opinione:
Retro' Caffe' è un piccolo ma grazioso bar e lo staff è gentile e accogliente.
Tornerò certamente in questo bar, per gustare un ottimo caffè e respirare aria di tempi passati...
