La Colonia del Gusto (ENG)
La Colonia del Gusto is a pizza restaurant located in Metaponto.
Metaponto is a seaside resort in Basilicata (region of southern Italy).
In the following photo you can see one of the many beach establishments present in Metaponto
The restaurant of this review is located in Viale Magna Grecia a few meters from the beach establishments "Lido dei Gabbiani" which you can see in the picture below.
The restaurant must be of recent construction, in fact it does not have a luminous sign visible on the road but a large plastic sheet near the entrance on which the restaurant name is stamped.
The tables are set with the colors of the sea.
This is the pizza my wife ordered.
Ingredients: buffalo mozzarella, tomatoes, basil.
The basil was really fragrant.
In the following photo is the pizza I chose.
Ingredients: mozzarella, gorgonzola, provola, spicy salami.
From the choice of pizzas we understand who my wife and I are more attentive to body weight ... :)
The following pizza is the pizza ordered by my sister.
Ingredients: mozzarella, tomato, tuna and onion.
Next to the restaurant there is a swimming pool.
It is possible to eat outside but it is necessary to book in advance.
In fact as you can see from the picture when we arrived at the restaurant the seats outside were all already booked.
The restaurant also has a play area for children.
The oldest child you see in the picture is my daughter and she really enjoyed herself.
My opinion:
The restaurant is a good restaurant, the pizza was tasty, the service very fast and the prices correct in relation to the food.
If you are in Metaponto and you don't know where to eat without spending a lot, remember this review ...
La Colonia del Gusto - Metaponto(ITA)
La colonia del gusto è un ristorante pizzeria situato a Metaponto.
Metaponto è una località balneare della Basilicata (regione del sud Italia).
Nella foto seguente potete vedere uno dei tanti stabilimenti balneari presenti a Metaponto
Dopo una bella giornata al mare insieme alla mia famiglia abbiamo deciso di cenare e poi partire per il ritorno a casa.
Così abbiamo cenato alla "Colonia del Gusto"
Il ristorante di questa recensione si trova in Viale Magna Grecia a pochi metri dallo stabilimento balneare "Lido dei Gabbiani" che potete vedere nella foto in basso.
Il ristorante deve essere di recente costruzione, infatti non ha una insegna luminosa visibile su strada ma un grande telo di plastica vicino all'ingresso su cui è impresso il nome del ristorante.
I tavoli sono apparecchiati con i colori del mare.
Questa è la pizza che ha ordinato mia moglie.
Ingredienti: mozzarella di bufala, pomodori, basilico.
Il basilico era davvero profumato.
Nella foto seguente c'è la pizza che ho scelto io.
Ingredienti: mozzarella, gorgonzola, provola, salame piccante.
Dalla scelta delle pizze si capisce chi tra me e mia moglie è più attento al peso corporeo... :)
La pizza seguente è la pizza ordinata da mia sorella.
Ingredienti: mozzarella, pomodoro, tonno e cipolla.
Di fianco al ristorante c'è una piscina.
E' possibile mangiare anche all'esterno ma è necessario prenotare prima.
Infatti come puoi vedere dalla foto quando siamo arrivati al ristorante, e non c'era nessuno seduto ai tavoli, i posti fuori erano tutti già prenotati.
Il ristorante ha anche un area giochi per i bambini.
La bimba più grande che vedete in foto è mia figlia e si è molto divertita.
La mia opinione:
Il ristorante è un buon ristorante, la pizza è gustosa, il servizio molto veloce e i prezzi corretti.
Se vi doveste trovate a Metaponto e non sapete dove mangiare spendendo il giusto, potete ricordarvi di questa recensione...
