In 2025, Splinterlands expanded its Ranked game modes by first introducing Survival Mode (temporarily paused for a rework) and then the Frontier Format.
In Ranked Play, my favorite game modes are the Modern Format and the Frontier Format.
In my previous post, I shared my upgrade goals for cards that can be used in the Modern Format.
In this post, I share:
In Frontier Format, I play with a card collection consisting of 104 cards = 1017 BCX
In Frontier Format, only cards from the Foundation set can be used, including 5 summoner cards.

The level of the cards is very important:
In the current season, I am in 402nd place in the Gold Leaderboard with a rating score of 2800 points and a win rate of 48.3%.
I really enjoy playing in the Frontier Format, and when I'm having fun playing, I also like to buy some cards to speed up my upgrade goals and improve my game results.
Today, I decided to buy the copies of the cards I need to bring all my summoners to level 3.

After purchasing, I completed the two upgrades (level 2 -> level 3) from the Items section of the Splinterlands website.
In Frontier Format with level 3 summoners, you can use maximum level legendary cards.
It's not easy to find legendary cards in daily rewards, so today I also bought some copies of legendary cards in order to make three upgrades.

I made three upgrades to the maximum level of three legendary cards that I often use in battle and which, at a higher level, should be even more useful to me in battles.
When I upgrade cards, I'm always very curious to see what effect they will have on my battles and my win rate.

Even though I only played 28 battles after making the upgrades I showed you in this post, I've already improved my seasonal win rate, which is definitely a positive sign.
In the game session I shared in this post, I used all three legendary cards that I upgraded today.

Thanks to the 15 battle victories I achieved in my gaming session, I claimed 3 Foundation Packs and 9 Frontier Entries

Thanks to the cards I found in the Foundation Packs, I was able to make two more upgrades:

Dopo l'acquisto ho completato i due upgrades (level 2 -> level 3) dalla sezione Items del sito di Splinterlands.
Nel Frontier Format con gli evocatori di livello 3 è possibile utilizzare le carte leggendarie di livello massimo.
Non è frequente trovare le carte di tipo leggendario nelle ricompense giornaliere e per questo motivo oggi ho acquistato anche alcune copie di carte leggendarie in modo da fare tre upgrades.

Ho fatto tre upgrades al massimo livello di tre carte leggendarie che uso spesso in battaglia e che, ad un livello più alto, dovrebbero essermi ancora più utili nelle battaglie.
Quando faccio degli upgrades delle carte ho sempre molta curiosità di vedere quali sono gli effetti nelle mie battaglie e sul mio win rate.
Oggi ho iniziato la mia sessione di gioco con:

Anche se dopo aver fatto gli upgrades che ti ho mostrato in questo post ho giocato solo 28 battaglie ho già migliorato il mio win rate stagionale e questo è sicuramente un primo segnale positivo.
Nella sessione di gioco che ho condiviso in questo post ho utilizzato tutte e tre le carte leggendarie che ho potenziato oggi.
