"Rio Chiquito Pines" 30"x20" oil on linen. I painted this en plein air early one cold winter morning near Taos, New Mexico, then retreated to my adobe home near a warm fire in the fireplace! I used LOTS of impasto paint applying with brushes and painting knives.
