The strangeness of the weather in my region made me mentally set off on a warm summer. In my photo archive there are photographs of a trip to Georgia. Today is a rainy slushy day, it is in tune with the monochrome mood.

Svaneti is a historical mountainous region in the north-west of Georgia. The Svan tower is a fortified defensive structure in the form of a four-sided tower, typical for Svaneti. Towers built in the 8th - 18th centuries. These ancestral structures were used both as housing and as outposts to protect against frequent invasions.
These are stone towers erected by hand. 😳At the time,I had to climb up these stairs.
Tower, usually attached to the dwelling house of a Svan family on one side. The tower has from 3 to 6 stories. Inside, there are stone and wooden ceilings and a wooden step ladder.
There was such a sodden ladder on every floor! I had to reach the goal!
