A House Reflected After the Rain
After the rain, I noticed a small puddle of water that had accumulated in front of a house. The water was calm enough to reflect the house, creating an image that looked quite different from the scene I was actually seeing in front of me.
Después de la lluvia, me fijé en un pequeño charco de agua que se había acumulado frente a una casa. El agua estaba lo suficientemente tranquila como para reflejar la vivienda, creando una imagen bastante diferente de la escena que tenía realmente delante.
I liked how something as temporary as a puddle could turn an ordinary place into a natural mirror. The house was there as always, but its reflection gave me another way to photograph it, with the water adding a different perspective to a familiar scene.
Me gustó cómo algo tan temporal como un charco podía convertir un lugar cotidiano en un espejo natural. La casa estaba allí como siempre, pero su reflejo me ofreció otra manera de fotografiarla, mientras el agua aportaba una perspectiva diferente a una escena conocida.
Rain does not always leave behind something we want to avoid. Sometimes, among the wet pavement and the puddles left along the way, it also creates little opportunities for photography. This was one of those moments when I happened to look down and found a reflection waiting to be captured.
La lluvia no siempre deja algo que queramos evitar. A veces, entre el pavimento mojado y los charcos que quedan por el camino, también crea pequeñas oportunidades para la fotografía. Este fue uno de esos momentos en los que simplemente miré hacia abajo y encontré un reflejo esperando ser capturado.
