What is Ziber ?

ZIber is the marriage of blockchain technology with IP telephony. It's a brilliant idea and it's targeting 90 billion dollar industry. In a nutshell, It lets you make extremely cheap phone calls to anyone in the world. For more details see this https://ziber.io/

This article is not about what Ziber is but how you can try it out today on Mac OsX.

What's the rationale ?

Ziber ICO is scheduled on July 27 2017. Until then, the Ziber app is available for download and can be used to make free calls. They're distributing ICO tokens to those who test the app.

The problem is that the app only works on windows!!!

I found a way to convert the windows application and run it on mac.

Step 1: Use the link to download the file

Step 2: Copy the file to ~/Applications and unzip it there

This creates a folder at called ZiberOSX at ~/Applications/

Stem 3: Move the contents of ZiberOSX folder to ~/Applications

In the ~/Applications folder you should see the Crossover app and the Crossover folder.

Step 4: Double click the Crossover app

When you open it, it displays a dialog like this. Click on "Try Now".

Step 5: Double click on Ziber blockchain telephony app

Step 6: Yay, we no have Ziber working on Mac

Step 7: Save you ethereum address for the bonus coins
