Hello guys ..
I am a fan of coffee and have a coffee plantation that I bought with Steem about 3 years ago in the Gayo highlands, central Aceh. Today I decided to go to one of the coffee shops in the city of Lhokseumawe, Aceh. In this shop not only providing several varieties of coffee menus but this coffee shop also provides coffee rosting services, I came to this place to roast coffee beans from the coffee plantations that I have.
After handing around 4 kilos of green bean coffee to the barista, the barista immediately put the green bean coffee into the roasting machine. You have to roast coffee beans that are completely dry to get the optimal taste and aroma of coffee, while roasting coffee in the barista's machine occasionally sees the results of rostingan to check the level of coffee.
There are several levels in roasting coffee, I myself am more inclined to choose the level of medium dark roast for my coffee, in my opinion the medium dark roast produces coffee that is slightly more spicy and has a pretty strong aroma. You can also see after roasting the coffee beans color are dark brown and this is exactly what I want, that is dark roast medium.
After the roasting process is finished the coffee will be cooled temporarily in a container made of rattan and I have to wait for about 1 to 2 hours until the cooling process is complete, after the cooling process the coffee will be put into a wrapper and I can bring home the coffee that I am roasting. This is story of roasting my coffee toda,I was glad for having this chance to observe the detail process of roasting from machinery . Have you drink coffee today? if not, let's drink coffee: D
