Hope you are doing well. Today I am here with the list of persons who bought bitcoins at the earlier stages and sold at high profits. There are also some people who did exactly opposite and they regretted later. Some people caught in bitcoin hacking. I am not covering all the people but only 3 from two categories. Here we go.
Success Stories:
Erik Fineman
This person bought bitcoins of worth $1000 in the year 2011 when he was just 11 and bitcoin was at $12 per coin. His grandmother gave him money and his brother suggested him to buy bitcoins. Then he sold his bitcoins after two years when each bitcoins was worth $1200 i.e. he made 100x on his investment.
Jeremy Gardner
Jeremy's friend offered him bitcoins in exchange of cash. This was during early days of bitcoins. Jeremy was never known about bitcoin and he was attracted to the technology behind it. Due to his passion, he bought few more and started studying about blockchain. He never disclosed how much bitcoins he held and how much he sold. But one thing for sure. Bitcoin made him millionaire.
Olaf-Carlson Wee
Carson Wee was just 26 years old when he bought bitcoins in Feb 2013. That time 1 BTC was worth $20-50. He started working with the start up company named coinbase. No one was aware about the coinbase that time but we when any coin gets listed in the coinbase, we all know how that coin gets pumped very easily.
Unlucky Fellas:
James Howells
James was working on bitcoins in 2009 from a computer. After a year, his interest in bitcoins was about to end and then disassembled his computer and threw the parts away. After some time then the price of the bitcoins was raised tremendously, he came to know that the bitcoins which he threw away with this computer were worth millions of dollars. But despite this unfortunate thing, he did not stop and continued work in cryptocurrency. Now he is working with bitcoin cash.
Cody Brown
Cody was one of the victims in bitcoin hacking in earlier days. A hacker hacked Cody's Verizon wallet which was connected to coinbase. He lost $8000 worth of bitcoins with which he could have become millionaire. Cody never got his bitcoins back and was helpless completely. He believe that exchanges and wallets should integrate their system with more security.
Laszlo Hanyecz
90% of bitcoin investors know that someone bought 2 pizza's in exchange of 10,000 bitcoins in 2010 but don't know his name. Yes his name is Laszlo Hanyecz. He never thought of bitcoins to reach this much height. Basically he is a bitcoin developer. Currently he is working on the lightning network and testing it that will speed up the transactions even faster.
The day when he bought the pizza, is now celebrated as bitcoin pizza day.
