It is #wednesdaywalk #38 of 2026, and for this week I went over "Lakeview Park". I hadn't been over there for a few weeks. Last time it was pretty dry in the Pond so I wanted to see what if anything had changed - and yes! The water is coming back!
But first I want to thank 
"Thank You"!

When I first got over to Lakeview Park I was very Surprised!
The "Ibis" came right over to me - that doesn't happen over where I live, there they run away!
And a side view of the same group,
And here I caught two walking away into the water,
Walking around I found this "Muscovy Duck", all alone hiding under some branches,
This Turtle came out,
And then dived back in,
(more on the Turtles in a minute!)
I found some random Seagulls here and there,
Here is a pair strutting along,
And some "Stilts" - which "did" run away!
And over on the far side the Ducks were gathering together,
Today I saw no Geese. They must have flown South by now.
Here is a few Seagulls with a Turtle,
And "then" the Turtles became "friendly"!
Here are two just getting out of the water,
This one is curving around a Pole,
And then they couldn't stand it! Here comes two more out of the water!
(I believe all of these Turtles are the pet "Painter Turtle" type)
At this point I left as I had no food to give them - I will bring them something next time! They were looking for dinner, which I did not have today!
I walked to the front side of the Park and this is a view of the "Kiddoes" play area,
And a little fun house / shade area for them,
At this point it was a good time to leave. People were showing up and it is always better to be in these places when they are empty - so I headed back to my house.
