It's December here and obviously it's most awaiting month for many of us, the one reason is charisma's and other is Winter vacation as we all love to have vacation and have some Me time and family time. I also wait for December since August lol obviously after ending summar vacation I'll start to wait for December because of winter vacation.
As my father is a teacher so he only have long summer holidays and some winter holidays. All cooking is done at home by my Mom but the only dish which only my father cook and he make it more delicious that we always eager to eat it. It's a delicious dessert of Winter which is initiated by India but you know there's many recipes which are common in India and Pakistan. This dessert also famous here and everyone make it in winter.
As winter's here and we all know that we've next some holidays too so we wait a little for eating that dessert. And almost on second or third holiday my Dad cook it and we just enjoy the watching and make gossips with family and enjoy the family time in kitchen.
We sister's say's look!! Year is almost about to end, and Mom cook for whole year now dad decided let me cook to something and catch the moment in last Days of Year. And then we all start to laugh.
He cook "Carrot's Halwa" , some said it as "Gajrela" too as it's a dessert, sweet dish which is made with milk, sugar, carrot's and clarified butter or you can use oil too. And you can decor it with boiled eggs when serving.
It's easy to make but some people feel it difficult too because smashing a lot of carrot's is difficult if it'd done by hand machine but we've a machine to smashing Carrot's so it's easy for us and it takes only a few minutes.
As we are Muslim but we have many christian here too around us. And obviously they celebrate Christmas just like we celebrate our festival. On Christmas there's discount on many things especially in fun places where people can go to enjoy.
So , each year we go to Funland or any other place like this to enjoy the rides because on Christmas we get each ride on 50% discount because of Christmas, and also it's Christmas and holiday's too so why not make some memories and went out with family and make some memories. And we call it's a gift from Santa for us and make it happy because within less money we enjoy the same as we do in normal day's.
Doesn't matter what's the condition and circumstances of our family but we repeat it every year just like tradition, these aren't cultural traditions but these are our personal tradition which we follow each year. Maybe these feels you different to us but we wait for December Because of these.
