Motivation for my pegging attempt
I thought I could reduce resistance in converting POB to Hive and back by maintaining a buy and sell orders of 0.02 Hive/POB and 0.023 Hive/POB respectively.
But after posting about how the APR is in the POB ecosystem, the demand went up suddenly and the buyers chewed through all of my sell orders which was keeping the price below 0.023. Now people will have to pay over 0.029 POB/Hive and so the order book has been replaced with the highest price you sell at being: 0.0292 and the lowest price you can buy at 0.0335 Hive/POB. The spread between these prices is only 12% so my past post on how you could get in and out with a much lower cost than its APR still holds provided the price doesn't drop. The prices are volatile now, this is when people who are late try to get in with the fallacy that things go up will continue in that direction. Newton's law doesn't apply to prices. It is finding its new balance according to the people trying to buy in and people trying sell their POB off.
I am going to try to bring the price down so it gets restored to 0.02 and 0.023. The idea that outside of sudden short-lived volatility we could have a exponential low slope price curve so that users can change their assets without a huge cost in spreads.
