This Sunday, I was in a village located at the top of hills in Budhanilkantha municipality, Kathmandu. The post can be found here. Yesterday, I was in the another village that is located in the hill that's situated opposite to the first village I visited Sunday. It is located in Tarakeshwar municipality, Nepal. You can see the landscape scene seen from the hills is same.
I came here to accompany one of my relatives as he wanted to pick some green vegetables from the field. I also thought why not go enjoy some cool air and natural scenic beauty. There are beautiful villages located here. Since winter is on the way, everyone had already harvested their rice and preparing to grow Finger millet. Hilly areas are the best place to grow such crops here in Nepal due to all suitable conditions it provides like temperature, soil fertility. This crop can grow well when there is drought. And is a popular dish in Himalayas of Nepal as well.
As seen down from here is Kathmandu valley, so much polluted as always.
