Sunday, I went for a short ride with my friends to Dadagaun village located in Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu. Dada in English means the hills located at mid to top altitude and Gain means village. Since the villages are there in top of hills, the place was named accordingly. The view as seen in the photo is of Tokha municipality, the same where I live but I live in the city area. The view is great but those hills and forests seemed like it was dead due to pre autumn. Otherwise it will look dark green and lively.
This same village is also the place from where you can do short hike and long trek as well. You will hike around Shivapuri National Park. One need to get permit to go past this board.
We took a stroll around the village. The inhabitants of this village are followers of Buddhism. Just beyond that tree, the view of Kathmandu can be seen. Couldn't capture it in mobile clearly.
