What's news Steemians? I've been away from you all this past week, there's much to catch up on. . SBD reached crazy prices I see. Plus, I have to check in on what you all have been up to. =)

While I have been away, I have been working on this painting, "Moonbathing II". I had a bit of a battle with this particular painting. It should have been finished back at the start of the week, but this particular painting had an extended ugly period. I was forced to admit to myself that I was avoiding it and finding other things to distract myself with.

So by the end of the week I forced myself to sit down an make stroke after stroke. And then one evening, in the process of three brush strokes, she turned a corner. There she was at last. Now I could move ahead and bring the painting to closure.

I tend to stick to one painting these days, as have learnt from past experience, that after a certain number of unfinished paintings piling up, some of them never find completion. I like to use my time more productively and achieve a finished work.

She has a sister painting which I presented to you back in October. Here are the two of them together, chillaxing under the moon.
