Greetings, my dear friends; I hope you are doing very well. It has been a long time since I stopped by to post here, but I have plenty to share... Especially this NEW OPPORTUNITY. I hope you are ready to catch up on what I’ve experienced during my time away. Shall we begin? Then get ready for what follows...
In life, we face processes and "wilderness" periods—times marked by disappointment, failure, heartbreak, and many tears shed along the way. And yes, I certainly shed my share of tears. Yet, those times were also seasons of waiting, growth, maturity, and spiritual preparation, allowing me to eventually see the fulfillment of things that had once seemed distant or lost. There were days when I had lost all hope, nursing shattered dreams and believing there was no longer any possibility for me. To clarify: a few years ago, I was married. To keep a long story short—without going into the nitty-gritty of the relationship—things simply didn't work out. I wasn't happy; there was immaturity and other issues, compounded by the vast distance between us. My partner had emigrated from Venezuela to Europe and, while living abroad, found someone else. Ultimately, the dream of building a happy family with that husband—the father of my two daughters—did not turn out the way I had envisioned and hoped for since childhood; everything fell apart, leading to our divorce.
I wonder if you have ever felt that when a door closes, you are unworthy of blessings—that such things simply aren't meant for you. Let me tell you, I used to think that way. After my previous relationship with my daughters' father didn't work out, I carried deep emotional wounds; a sense of mistrust lingers deep inside, and you wall off your heart to keep it from being hurt or wounded again. Yet, only when those wounds heal can you be truly free from that bondage. I began working on myself with God’s help to find inner healing—that peace which surpasses all understanding—and when you least expect it, great things happen. That special person appears, and you see the fulfillment of the longing you once held in your heart: someone with whom you form a perfect team and build a home and a marriage where both partners thrive in their roles—where absolutely everything flows in complete harmony, a stark contrast to your past. Because there is a profound truth in life: "If you sow love, you will reap love." It may not always come back from the same place where you gave and sowed it, but it will return to you in one way or another—and it will be even greater than what you had hoped for.
Galatians 6:7 (Contemporary Language Translation)
After so many days of doubt—weighed down by the pain of the past and the tears and heartache I endured—I moved forward and healed. As time passed, I finally came to understand that I had arrived at this very moment for a reason, despite all the missteps and disappointments. Everything works together for the best, and I had to start over. After seven years without a partner, I am now happily married, and my daughters share in that same happiness. What began as a friendship and mutual support evolved into a romantic relationship on September 19, 2025; that courtship lasted nearly five months, leading to February 13 of this year, when I signed the civil marriage papers at the registry office in the morning, followed by the church ceremony and a celebration with family, friends, and loved ones that evening.
Each new day brings the possibility and opportunity to be better, to see renewed mercy in our existence, and to take steps toward building our dreams. Silence those inner voices that tell you that you won't succeed, that there is no hope, and that only bring discouragement. Let go of the insecurity that prevents you from moving forward.
Allow yourself to live each season of your life with courage, the highs and lows, the good and the bad, because you won't remain in the same state forever unless you choose to, and I don't think you want to be a prisoner and slave to pain. As they say, "No evil lasts a thousand years, nor a body that can withstand it."
When it comes to opening your heart again... Give God first place. Begin by working on yourself before taking the step of being with someone again. Learn to love yourself, to know yourself better, and to see your worth.
Choose someone who will be your teammate, your partner, your ideal and mutual help; someone with whom you both share the same vision. Because the partner you choose will have a tremendous impact on your emotional health, your happiness, and every area of your life. Choose someone who adds to your life and multiplies your blessings, love, security, trust, peace, support, commitment, respect, responsibility, and stability... not someone who takes away from it.
Let go of the pain of the past and move forward... Great and wonderful things lie ahead. If you need to start something new and you feel confident in doing so, believing it's the right thing to do... go and start again. And with that, I conclude:
