TEXT IN ENGLISH

The calluses come to my memory,
but not one of those a la madrileña,
but those that thicken the skin
those who come out when the pitcher falls,
although the body does not break,
who can say that he does not have a hardened skin from those terrestrial turns,
who has not rubbed between the rough walls of time,
somewhere in our soul we have dead meat,
It is the reminder for the blessing of being alive,
the prize for having walked on the hot asphalt,
barefoot through the sands of existence,
the one who doesn't have a callus that takes a step forward,
he will be declared free from all sin,
and in passing dead,
those who do not have it in his body,
they have him in his spirit,
that's the meaning of life
make a prominent callus,
no matter where we have it,
if not present,
We don't go through this world seriously
having a callus is simply knowing that you have lived.
