Hello my Dearest Friends,
Even though, Monarch butterflies are flying all over the place, it took me a while until I finally captured one. But still, only with closed wings. I was standing there next to these tall yellow flowers (I am not sure about their name, it could be Helianthus 'Lemon Queen') waiting for him to open his wings, but every time he did that, he flew away as you see on the second photo, lol. He always came back, but same thing happened over and over until I gave up, lol.
I was very surprised to see that shot when I got home. Although I wish my camera would caught him sooner, it is still pretty lucky one, lol. Nevertheless, summer is not over yet and I am pretty sure I will capture few more Monarchs with open wings, as I do every year.
