As a break away from the Air Force stories, we are going on a cruise next month and trevor.george@trevor.george suggested that his camera would like a holiday, and could we please take it so it wont be agitating in his bedroom, complaining about always being at home, nobody cares, nobody takes me out anymore, etc.

The last time I was serious about cameras was in the days of 35mm colour slides, [you can’t even get the film anymore], and the digital ones have been the modern equivalent of a “Box Browmie”, point and shoot.

To be handed this modern, more bells and whistles that a “Morris Dancers” band, I am suitably out of my depth and paddling hard.

To experiment, and because karenb54@karenb54 has had to stop her garden shots for winter, and you don’t want withdrawal reactions, here are some of the first attempts around the backyard today.

With one of the willing workers posing.

The lemon tree waiting for the kids to come and raid it,

The orange tree also “in-waiting”, but the kids had better hurry up or there will be none left.

We also had a visitor, I think it was of the Finch Family, the under wing area is a bright yellow, but he was to busy to wait for me to work out how to get it before he flew off again.

Known as the “Back Forty”!

with thanks to son-of-satire for the banner
