Hello Hive Family! Most especially to my ever-supportive Hive Friends all over the world, I鈥檓 sending you warm greetings today from Bulacan. Since the day I moved here, I鈥檝e felt nothing but blessings, kindness, and generosity from the people around me. Truly, I will never regret leaving Manila, because my new home has given me more than just a change of scenery; it has given me a community that feels like family.
Just a few minutes ago, my generous neighbor, the one living right beside my house, handed me a bowl of freshly cooked pinakbet. Imagine that: a hearty, nutritious, and delicious dish arriving right on time for my rainy-day lunch.
Pinakbet, for those who may not know, is a Filipino vegetable dish made with squash, eggplant, okra, bitter melon, and string beans, often flavored with bagoong (fermented shrimp paste). It鈥檚 a celebration of local produce and a reminder of how simple food can bring so much comfort.
I feel so blessed here in Bulacan. My neighbors are kind and thoughtful, and this particular neighbor has been consistently generous since day one. She always shares food with me, and today鈥檚 pinakbet is just another proof of her big heart.
Moments like this remind me that blessings don鈥檛 always come in grand forms; sometimes they arrive in a warm bowl of vegetables, shared with love.
Thank you, Hive Family, for reading my little story today. I鈥檓 grateful not only for my neighbor鈥檚 kindness but also for this platform where I can share my blessings with friends across the globe. May we all continue to celebrate the small joys and the generous souls who make our lives brighter. 馃挌
