Hello, my dear Hive friends all over the world!

Today, I would like to talk about something that has become quite annoying on Hive: spam comments. Recently, I noticed suspicious comments appearing on two of my blog posts. The comments were promoting a so-called Hive airdrop and encouraging users to visit a link to claim rewards. The message looked very similar in both cases, making it obvious that it was being copied and pasted across different posts.

Fortunately, I am naturally cautious when it comes to online offers, especially those that sound too good to be true. Because of that, I never clicked the link. Whenever I encounter something suspicious online, I prefer to be careful rather than take unnecessary risks.

What I appreciated most was seeing fellow Hive users quickly point out that the comment was a scam. They clearly warned everyone not to click the link because Hive was not running such an airdrop. It was reassuring to see community members looking out for one another. Not long afterward, the friendly Hive3 account also responded with useful information. Besides confirming that there was no official Hive airdrop, it shared practical steps for dealing with spam accounts.

Among the suggestions were muting the account, reporting the spammer to anti-spam groups, and avoiding any suspicious links. I honestly found this information very helpful because I had never muted an account before. While these spam comments may seem like a small issue, they can become quite irritating. As content creators, we spend time writing, taking photos, and engaging with readers. Seeing unrelated spam messages appear in the comment section can be frustrating.

At the same time, this experience reminded me of one thing I truly appreciate about Hive: the community. There are many users who are willing to help, share advice, and warn others about potential scams or suspicious activities.

So instead of focusing only on the annoyance of receiving spam comments, I would also like to say thank you to the Hive friends who took the time to explain the situation and provide solutions. Their helpful comments turned an irritating experience into a learning opportunity. Thank you, thank you, lett@lett josephthegreat@josephthegreat hive3@hive3
