Good day, Everyone!
Today isn't anything grand or extraordinary, but for me, it feels like a small victory worth sharing. After almost a month of doing absolutely no fitness activities, I finally picked up my home-gym weights again. Seeing my adjustable dumbbells sitting quietly in the corner for weeks made me realize how much I missed my workout routine.
The past month wasn't easy because I got sick. Recovering became my priority, and naturally, my workout-from-home journey had to take a pause. At first, I thought I would only miss exercising for a few days, but days turned into weeks. Before I knew it, my dumbbells were collecting more dust than reps.
Today, however, I decided to give it another try. I won't pretend that I immediately felt strong or that everything was easy. In fact, my body quickly reminded me that taking a long break has its consequences. But despite that, it felt good to hold those adjustable dumbbells again. It felt familiar, comforting, and somehow motivating.
Sometimes, fitness isn't about lifting heavier weights or achieving new personal records. Sometimes, it's simply about showing up again after life forces you to stop for a while. I'm not planning to rush things. My goal is to listen to my body, rebuild my strength slowly, and enjoy the process once more. The important thing is that I started again. For this Tuesday, that's enough to make me smile.
Here's to small victories, steady progress, and getting back on track one workout at a time. Thank you for reading, and I hope you're all having a wonderful day! 😊
