Feliz inicio de semana, amigos creativos, que sea de muchas alegr铆as y bendiciones. Espero que est茅n desarrollando sus proyectos con entusiasmo. Yo he andado full ocupada en este #RetoDeCreacionDeContenido en el que estoy participando, contenta de que ya me falta poco para que termine el mes y con 茅l, este reto, que adem谩s de cansancio, tambi茅n se han venido muchas cosas buenas.
Hace unos d铆as, al principio de este mes les estuve escribiendo sobre mi WIP, el cual se trataba de un pantal贸n corto que le estaba haciendo a mi hija Arianna y lo hab铆a dejado en el olvido, porque me dol铆an las manos y estaba esperando una m谩quina que me hab铆an ofrecido.
Bueno, aunque, me prestaron una m谩quina, este short lo estaba cociendo a mano y as铆 mismo lo continu茅, ahora le muestro el proceso de terminaci贸n, ya que estaba bastante avanzado. Miren en este GIF como lo ten铆a.
La pretina (cintura) ya le faltaba muy poco por terminar, cuando se lo fui a medir a Arianna para cortar y ajustar la el谩stica, este le quedo muy justo, la cintura no iba a tener ese fruncido que le da una vista muy bonita al pantal贸n. La parte de las piernas le quedo tambi茅n peque帽o. As铆 que el paso del tiempo que estuvo guardado, hizo que ya no le quedara, estaba un poco triste por eso y quer铆a que lo convirtiera en falda.
Sin embargo, le dije que mejor se lo dejara su hermana Ambar y as铆 fue, se lo med铆 a ella, corte la el谩stica, la cos铆 y proced铆 a cerrar la pretina, todo esto cosido a mano.
Luego comenc茅 a coser los bolsillos, que ya los ten铆a basteado, para asegurar que no se me fueran a mover o salir de forma. Los bolsillos me parecen que quedaron muy bonitos.
Despu茅s para agarrar el ruedo del pantal贸n, con una plancha fui doblando dos veces la tela, para darle forma, le pas茅 una costura suelta y luego seguir con la costura punto de m谩quina, claro que a mano je, je, je.
Ya solo quedaba coser las entre piernas, en este punto ya estaba feliz de que por fin estuviera terminado, despu茅s de casi 2 a帽os desde que lo empec茅. Es un pantal贸n corto sencillo, cosido a mano, pero se ve bien bonito y cuando se lo med铆 a Ambar, se le ve un poco grande, al igual que la camisa que tambi茅n cos铆 a mano, para que le hiciera juego.
Eso no me preocupa, siempre le he comprado su ropa m谩s grande que su talla, as铆 le duran m谩s y este que es hecho por m铆 lo pueda disfrutar mucho m谩s, ya que los que le hice cuando era reci茅n nacida los disfruto poco, m谩s fue el esfuerzo haci茅ndolo.
Ahora aqu铆 ven a mi princesa modelando su conjunto hecho con amor por su mami, el cintillo que lleva en su cabeza tambi茅n se lo hice cuando era peque帽a. Les cuento que anoche cuando se lo med铆, estaba practicando la pasarela de como lo iba a modelar, se miraba en el espejo con su mano en la cintura y la mirada p铆cara, si la vieran era toda una cosa preciosa, lo malo que la grabaci贸n sal铆a muy oscura.

I've been very busy in this #ContentCreationChallenge in which I'm participating, happy that the month is almost over and with it, this challenge, that besides tiredness, there have also been many good things.
A few days ago, at the beginning of this month I was writing about my WIP, which was about a pair of shorts that I was making for my daughter Arianna and I had left it in oblivion, because my hands were hurting and I was waiting for a machine that I had been offered.
Well, although, I borrowed a machine, this short I was making it by hand and so I continued it, now I show you the finishing process, as it was quite advanced. Look in this GIF how I had it.
The waistband was almost finished, when I went to Arianna to measure it to cut and adjust the elastic, it was very tight, the waist was not going to have that gathering that gives a very nice view to the pants. The leg part was also too small. So the passage of time that it was stored, made it no longer fit her, she was a little sad about that and wanted me to turn it into a skirt.
However, I told her that her sister Ambar should have it and so it was, I measured it for her, cut the elastic, sewed it and proceeded to close the waistband, all sewed by hand.
Then I started sewing the pockets, which I had already basteado, to make sure they were not going to move or get out of shape. I think the pockets turned out very nice.
Then to hold the hem of the pants, with an iron I folded the fabric twice, to give it shape, I sewed a loose seam and then continue with the machine stitch seam, of course by hand heh, heh, heh.
At this point I was happy that it was finally finished, after almost 2 years since I started it. It is a simple shorts, hand sewn, but it looks very nice and when I measured it to Ambar, it looks a little big, just like the shirt that I also sewed by hand, to match it.
That doesn't worry me, I have always bought her clothes bigger than her size, so they last longer and this one is made by me so she can enjoy it much more, since the ones I made her when she was a newborn she enjoys them less, the more was the effort to make it.
Now here you see my princess modeling her outfit made with love by her mommy, the headband she wears on her head I also made for her when she was little. I tell you that last night when I measured it, she was practicing the runway of how she was going to model it, she was looking at herself in the mirror with her hand on her waist and the mischievous look, if you could see her she was a beautiful thing, the bad thing was that the recording came out very dark.
