Greetings and blessings, I hope you have a nice week dear community needleworkmonday@needleworkmonday, it had been days that I did not spend with any publication on these sides, I'm here, to show you how after several years I will make a bracelet with a knot easy to do, with the technique of Macramé.

I had been wanting to make one for a long time, but I couldn't find the motivation or the push to get my hands on the threads. Yesterday when I realized that it was my sister-in-law's birthday, I said to myself, this is the opportunity to make a bracelet and with that I have a detail to give her as a gift when I go to nibble the cake heh, heh, heh.

And so it was, when yesterday Sunday at about 10 pm I started to look for the materials I had forgotten, by the way, the Paracord cords, which is the ideal material to make these bracelets, I did not have enough, so I used another type of cord that is harder and thicker, but I had already used to make these bracelets.

In the following images and GIF, I show you step by step how I made this bracelet.

Adobe_Express_20221114_1735370_1.png

The materials I used to make this cute 21 cm long bracelet were:

150 cm of yellow cord.
120 cm of blue cord.
Scissors.
Lighter.
Tape measure.

Adobe_Express_20221114_1741300_1.png

Let's start with the procedure to make this bracelet.

The blue cord is folded in half and crossed one on top of the other.

The yellow cord is folded in half and put through the circle that was made with the blue one.

The two ends of the yellow cord are put through the double of the same yellow cord, pull it, when it is stretched it looks like in the third figure and then turn it over like in the fourth one, this is how we are going to start making the bracelet.

I pressed it with a click of a work table, to be able to hold the bracelet and continue making the knots.

gfv_1668462664347.gif

gfv_1668462780499.gif

As you can see in the picture, the yellow cords are underneath and now we cross the blue ones, the one on the left side we pass it to the right and then we do the opposite with the other side.

Then we pass the two yellow ends through the inside of the yellow ones.

We stretch well both yellow ends and then the blue ones.

gfv_1668462906553.gif

gfv_1668462835398.gif

We continue this procedure in the same order.

The crossing of the blues over the yellows, always be aware that first the left side of the blue is passed to the right side.

Then the yellow ends, pass through the yellow center and so on.

Adobe_Express_20221114_1804160_1.png

gfv_1668462999238.gif

Then, when the yellow cords are finished, cut the remaining one and seal with the lighter.

With the blue cord on the left side we place it downwards and then we make a circle upwards with the cord underneath.

The one on the right side we put it through the circle, pull it out through the back and then put it back in through the center and stretch both ends.

This procedure is done twice.

Adobe_Express_20221114_1806270_1.png

Adobe_Express_20221114_1809160_1.png

After these two knots are made, the two blue ends are brought up and crossed as shown in the figure, two circles are formed through which the two ends are passed again.

Each one is pulled tightly, cut and sealed with the lighter.

And so it is ready, this nice macrame bracelet in two colors, as you can see on both sides it looks with a very nice weave and put on the hand looks great.

As I said before, it looks a little thick, it all depends on the thread or cord with which you do it.

I made it with what I have in inventory in my boxes of materials, which always get me out of trouble, it is an investment that I have been making of everything I'm learning and I'm leaving some other material out there.

This is a birthday present for my sister-in-law, who is having her birthday today, by the way I couldn't go to take it to her and not even to eat cake, it's raining and the car is ruined, so I will give it to her tomorrow, because the streets are too flooded to walk.

Thanks for stopping by my publication, I hope you liked it. God bless you.
