Saludos y bendiciones, mis queridos amigos de @Moderthood, un gusto visitarlos en este día. Espero todos se encuentren muy bien. Hoy quiero compartirles un bonito vídeo de la experiencia que tuvimos en la primera competencia de mi princesa Ambar en la disciplina de atletismo.
Apenas tenía unos pocos días que había empezado a practicar este deporte; sin embargo, su profesor la convocó para esta competencia. En donde estarían compitiendo en salto en la arena y lanzamiento de bola.
Ella estuvo muy entusiasmada porque esta era su primera competencia. Llegamos temprano, como a las 7:30 de la mañana; ya se veía la algarabía en la gente, estaban llegando selecciones de otros municipios que venían a competir acá a nuestra ciudad en el polideportivo.
En su equipo había diferentes categorías; mi princesa estaba en la de compota. Como podrán ver, en el salto en la arena no lo hizo muy bien, ya que solamente había practicado una sola vez esta disciplina de atletismo. Hasta esta parte no le gusta tanto; a ella le gusta más correr a velocidad.
Seguramente, cuando lo practique más, le agarrará el gusto y quizás un día pueda ser como Yulimar Rojas. Ella es la más chiquita del grupo, y si sigue así de disciplinada, seguramente luego estará ganando muchas competencias con el favor de Dios.
Por lo pronto, ella estaba muy contenta jugando, corriendo, andando de aquí para allá con sus compañeras de esta bonita disciplina. A pesar de que no quedó con ninguna medalla, ella está preparada porque, como les digo, apenas está comenzando.
Ese día teníamos que viajar, así que no nos quedamos hasta el final; sí vimos unas cuantas premiaciones. Por aquí le dejo algunas imágenes de sus compañeras que ganaron algunas medallas. Sin embargo, el profesor les había dejado una medalla para las niñas que estaban compitiendo por primera vez y una de ellas era mi princesa, y se la dio el próximo día que fue a clases, ya que nos habíamos retirado cuando él las entregó al final de la competencia.
Fue muy emocionante estar en esta primera competencia, estar expuesta al calor, al movimiento del día. Es una emoción estar viendo cada una de las competencias, la alegría de los que ganaban y ver las caritas cuando perdían, pero con la esperanza de hacerlo mucho mejor la próxima vez.

She had only been practicing this sport for a few days, but her coach selected her to compete. They would be competing in the long jump and the shot put.
She was very excited because this was her first competition. We arrived early, around 7:30 in the morning; you could already feel the excitement in the air—teams from other municipalities were arriving to compete here in our city at the sports complex.
There were different categories on her team; my little princess was in the junior category. As you can see, she didn’t do very well in the sand jump, since she had only practiced this track and field event once. So far, she doesn’t like it that much; she prefers sprinting.
Surely, as she practices more, she’ll develop a taste for it, and maybe one day she can be like Yulimar Rojas. She’s the youngest in the group, and if she stays this disciplined, she’ll surely go on to win many competitions, God willing.
For now, she was very happy playing, running, and wandering around with her teammates in this wonderful sport. Even though she didn’t win a medal, she’s ready because, as I said, she’s just getting started.
We had to travel that day, so we didn’t stay until the end; we did see a few award ceremonies, though. Here are some photos of her teammates who won medals. However, the coach had set aside a medal for the girls competing for the first time—and my little princess was one of them—and he gave it to her the next day when she went to class, since we’d already left by the time he handed them out at the end of the competition.
It was very exciting to be at this first competition, to experience the heat and the energy of the day. It’s thrilling to watch each of the events—the joy of the winners and the expressions on the girls’ faces when they lost, yet still hopeful of doing much better next time.
