He tenido buenas experiencias y otras no tanto.
@ariannamc y
@doriangel.
Taking care of my smile
Hello friends at @hiveargentina, it's a pleasure to visit you and participate in your initiative where smiles take center stage, and today I'm joining in, hehehe. The truth is that you always come up with initiatives that are right up my alley. As the saying goes, I don't know why I don't plan ahead and let the days go by without participating, but the day has come to participate in this one, which I also really liked, and who doesn't like to smile?
A few days ago, I went to my dentist's office for my orthodontic treatment, which I've been attending for a year and a half with the sole purpose of improving my smile, since there are several details that didn't look good and that I had been putting off for years due to lack of budget or not making it a priority.
Let me tell you, since I was a child, dentists have been one of the health specialists I have visited the most, and although I used to be terrified of them, I still forced myself to go, since my smile has always been very important to me.
A smile is not vanity, nor is taking care of it, it is health. That is why I always take special care with oral hygiene, but even so, as I said, I have had to go to the dentist many times. I have had good experiences and others not so good.
Not to mention how much I have spent, or rather invested, in my well-being in that area of my body, but in one way or another, fate takes me to the dentist and, by extension, my daughters, in whom I have also invested, since, as you know, these doctors are expensive and going to a public dentist is an odyssey.
Our smile is our calling card, it is the star of our face, with which we often communicate our mood. We greet and caress from afar those we look at with affection, respect, admiration, or cordiality.
Just as they say that the eyes are the mirrors of the soul, the smile is what opens the doors of the heart, it is what tells us: come in and enter my life.
I love to smile and talk to people, and what better way to do so than with a beautiful smile. It's a shame that it's not how I want it to be, and I haven't seen 100% results either, since I lost a tooth that I had treated twice, enduring pain until I couldn't take it anymore, through several sessions with the intention of saving it against all odds. As I said, my smile has always been important to me, but unfortunately, all my efforts were in vain.
I had that gap for several years due to lack of funds. It's expensive. I asked about an implant years ago and it was $1,000, which discouraged me and left me waiting to find a solution someday. Thank God, for the past two years I've been working on it, but the midline of my teeth is off to one side. Maybe no one else notices it, but I do, and it's something I'm still working on with my dentist, hoping for satisfactory results soon.
Well, friends, this was supposed to be just a few words. Sorry for making you read so much, heh heh heh. This is my story. I enjoyed telling it, and I hope someone reads it. I often refrain from sharing so many important things because I feel like I'm wasting time. However, when I do, it comes from the bottom of my heart.
To illustrate this post, here are some photos from the dentist and one where I saw an iguana at my daughter's school that day and it made me smile. I would like to invite my friends @wendyth14,
@ariannamc, and
@doriangel to join this initiative.
Thank you for visiting, and this is also my entry for the #hive14challenge from my friends at @hivecreatorday.
