Do you know what "String Theory" is? Do you know that this theory is one of the most fascinating theories in Physics?

String theory was found to describe the nature of everything in the universe from the largest scales of matter(planets, stars, galaxies, and clusters) to the smallest of scales(everything that makes up the atoms). Because of this people call this the "Theory of Everything".
When physicists used the largest Hadron Colliders in the world to explore the subatomic universe, they found that there are particles even smaller than the protons and neutrons called quarks. These are point-like particles that look like a ball.
String theory suggests that if you zoom in further, you’ll find that there are tiny vibrating strands of one-dimensional particles called strings.
A string vibrating in a certain way may create photons, and a string vibrating in another way would create electrons, and so on. Just like the strings of a violin producing different tones in response to different ways of playing it.
The theory also suggests that there are six more dimensions than meet the eye. And we can’t yet observe them because they might be billions and billions of times smaller than the atoms and tightly twisted in ways you can't even visualize.
If the String theory is correct, we will be able to understand the true nature of the universe. Also, it can solve the conflict between the General theory of relativity and Quantum mechanics.
This theory is still in its infancy. And many physicists disagree with its existence because there are no experiments devised to prove its existence so far.
