There’s nothing to suggest that anything nefarious is going on, so there’s no reason you should be concerned about downloading it and giving it a try.
Interesting article about the Brave Browser and whether it's safe to use or not. I've been using it for a couple years now and have had no problems with it. I' no expert but it seems to me to be clean and fast. And the ability to watch a few ads for some free crypto seems like a bonus to me.
